InSight Newsletter Undergoes Makeover
The ATA newsletter was bound to undergo some changes, considering recent efforts to revitalize the ATA Web site and logo. Plus, there was room for improvement. For instance, instead of listing each story in what often became a long list, we felt it would be easier for readers to grasp and retain the content of each monthly newsletter if we divvied the content into departments based on topic.
What you see is the result of that strategy.
Each newsletter will feature three to four articles or newsworthy information in the layout’s right-hand column. Meanwhile, the left column compartmentalizes topics into three main sections: “For Members,” “Trade Show Update” and “Get Briefed.”
“For Members” is devoted to information that will likely only interest ATA members. This might include information on membership renewals or membership services. “Trade Show Update” was created because of the show’s prominence in the industry and its importance to ATA members. The event always generates enough news to fill this department monthly. Finally, “Get Briefed” is devoted to news releases, eblasts and other news distributed by ATA each month. This is where we’ll recap four weeks’ worth of ATA news in one snapshot.
The newsletter offers links in the header so users can forward Insight to a friend. Plus, there’s an option to view the newsletter on your Blackberry. Please offer ideas and tell us what you think of the new format. We hope you enjoy the upgrade.
