01.06.12 | ATA's Show Floor Reporting & Where To Find It

By Amy Hatfield

This year, Patrick Durkin and I will update the ATA Web site, Twitter and Facebook with frequent news, photos and observations from the Show floor. Meanwhile, the Trade Show Daily will be reserved for daily schedules, booth events and seminar schedules.

We'll also use archerytrade.org and the ATA's social feeds to alert you to unannounced special events. We'll post these alerts soon before the event, along with helpful tips about things that might come up during the Show. These notices could be about parking, traffic problems and things of that nature.

You can find these updates a few different ways:

Archerytrade.org. Beginning Monday, Jan. 9, we'll have a homepage link to "News From Columbus." Find frequent updates there throughout the day.
Twitter and Facebook. Each time we post news from the Show floor on archerytrade.org, we'll also provide links to the reports on Twitter and Facebook. You can find our social media pages by visiting the ATA's homepage. Links to each are displayed at the bottom of the page. Our Twitter handle is @ATATradeShow.
You Are Here Social Stream. All Trade Show news and social posts will be streamed through the "You Are Here" mobile-ready Web page. Simply access the page and go to "ShowStream." For easy access, save the link as a bookmark in your smartphone's Web browser.

Did You Know?

In June 2008, Director Dale Hall of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced that ATA-sponsored youth archery/bowhunting programs will begin this year on at least 16 national wildlife refuges across the country.
