Running a retail shop often means never-ending to-do lists for buying, scheduling, bookkeeping and customer service.

To help busy archery-shop owners and employees maximize their time and increase profits, the ATA will hold an Archery Bootcamp in 2018 as part of its Archery Academy. This joint program by the ATA and its members also receives help from the Easton Foundations.

The 2018 ATA Archery Bootcamp is a five-day workshop that gives retailers, programmers and other archery-industry professionals a crash course in how to thrive at archery retailing. Archery Bootcamp will be held in Salt Lake City  at the Easton Center of Excellence. To learn more and sign up for this exciting opportunity, visit the Member Services Area at the 2018 ATA Trade Show.

Archery Bootcamp strengthens archery businesses by turning empty ranges into profit generators. These recreational archery programs boost profits for businesses by increasing opportunities for year-round sales and expanding the customer base by creating new archers. In fact, getting instructors certified at an Archery Bootcamp boosts a shop’s value.

During the five-day workshop retailers will learn how to develop personalized plans for archery programs in their communities. In addition to instructor-certification opportunities, Archery Bootcamp will focus on implementing sustainable archery programs through peer teaching and learning. The course will review how to start a program, choose equipment, and inspect and repair archery gear. The curriculum also covers crossbow education and repair.
