NEW ULM, Minnesota – The Archery Trade Association has launched ATA Connect, an online discussion community created exclusively for ATA members. ATA Connect is the first members-only forum for archery-industry professionals to discuss hot topics among themselves – and work together to find solutions.

The ATA debuted the forum by encouraging its retail members to interact through constructive, online discussions to overcome challenges unique to retailers. The Retail Growth Interact community within ATA Connect was created specifically for ATA-member retailers, and provides a safe online space for discussing topics like MAP policies, buying patterns, and setting appropriate charges for service work.

ATA Connect was conceived by ATA staff and the ATA’s Retail Council, a recently revitalized committee focused on providing resources that help archery retailers succeed.

ATA Connect is the first members-only forum for archery-industry professionals to discuss hot topics among themselves – and work together to find solutions that boost business and benefit the industry. "As a dealer, I now have a way to connect with other shops around the country, sharing ideas and concepts, or asking honest questions in a safe and constructive peer-to-peer environment," said Mark Copeland, store director at Jay’s Sporting Goods and chair of the ATA’s Retail Council. “We’re proud and excited to announce this new member benefit,” said Maria Lewis, ATA’s senior director of the Trade Show and membership. “Archery retailers have a tough time connecting and an even more difficult time finding solutions to issues unique to our industry. Facilitating honest and open conversation in a members-only setting will help our members discover new ideas and, hopefully, grow their businesses.”

“Another great example of the ATA providing real tools in the tool box for its members,” said Mark Copeland, store director at Jay’s Sporting Goods and chair of the ATA’s Retail Council. “As a dealer, I now have a way to connect with other shops around the country, sharing ideas and concepts, or asking honest questions in a safe and constructive peer-to-peer environment.”

ATA Connect is an exclusive benefit for ATA members. To join the online conversation, become an ATA member and start profiting from ATA Connect.
