Networking, boosting business, placing orders and testing new products are great reasons to attend the ATA Trade Show. Six ATA members left Indianapolis with more than that, however. They received hundreds of dollars in prize winnings as an extra-special bonus.
No one went home empty-handed, of course. Most ATA members walked away from the 2018 ATA Trade Show after setting up their businesses for a successful year. The few lucky ATA members who went home with more – thanks to the ATA – all had something in common: They met some important deadlines before the Show.
ATA members who renewed their membership and registered for the Show by Dec. 1 automatically entered drawings to win $1,000 or a three-night hotel stay at the 2019 ATA Trade Show in Louisville.
“The ATA is dedicated to supporting our members and providing them with the tools and resources they require to help grow their businesses,” said Allison Jasper, ATA’s director of marketing and communications. “Giveaways, such as iPads, a cash prize or hotel stay are ways we show gratitude to our members.”

Prizes and giveaways aren’t why archery and bowhunting professionals attend the ATA Trade Show or become ATA members, of course. But they’re examples of how the ATA strives to serve its members and show appreciation.
“We work hard on issues that are relevant to our industry,” Jasper said. “Any incentives we can provide our members throughout the year are just our way of saying ‘thank you’ and ‘we appreciate you’ to our members.”
The ATA’s mission is to promote and protect the archery and bowhunting industry, and the industry’s manufacturers and retailers. ATA works hard to defend, educate and lobby for its members’ interests and rights. ATA membership benefits also include exclusive access to the ATA Trade Show, free subscriptions to several industry trade magazines, access to industry research, and tools to help you boost your shop’s profile.
By joining ATA, you play an important role in shaping the industry’s future. Working together strengthens the industry and builds a framework for future archers and bowhunters. ATA membership makes you part of something special. And with a little luck, maybe you’ll win something special at the 2019 Show!
