Explore Bowhunting and Explore Bowfishing Programs

ATA created the programs to spark interest and inspire passion for bowhunting and bowfishing in youths, but the programs regularly introduce people of all ages to the sports. Photo Credit: Cajun Bowfishing.

The ATA’s Explore Bowhunting and Explore Bowfishing programs help instructors, educators and program leaders teach students basic bowhunting and bowfishing skills. ATA created the programs to spark interest and inspire passion for bowhunting and bowfishing in youths, but the programs regularly introduce people of all ages to the sports.

The programs also help retailers introduce newcomers to bowhunting and bowfishing, which also increases archery participation nationwide. In other words, Explore Bowhunting and Explore Bowfishing open your doors to more business and greater profits from new customers and equipment sales.

The ATA offers its retail members the Explore Bowhunting and Explore Bowfishing curriculum for free. Learn how to get involved with these programs and obtain these materials by visiting the Member Services Area in Hall F during the Show.

Archery Equipment Development Program

Retailers can visit the Member Services Area to see the program’s successful products, which they can buy for their store. Retailers can also join the program to start testing products for the program. Photo Credit: Cullman, AL ASA

The Archery Equipment Development Program benefits manufacturers and retailers by helping manufacturers get their equipment tested objectively while identifying products that help retailers satisfy customers new to archery. In effect, the program helps ATA members work together to create and sell equipment that meets the needs of youths, women and beginners.

Manufacturers join the program to get unbiased product feedback, which can be used to improve its design and marketing efforts. Retailers can visit the Member Services Area to see the program’s successful products, which they can buy for their store. Retailers can also join the program to start testing products for the program. Talk to an ATA staff member to get involved.

Both websites provide valuable archery and bowhunting content that engages your audience and helps your business grow. Each site also features a store locator to drive traffic to ATA-member stores. Make sure your store’s information is up to date so new customers find you. Feel free to update your store listing on the Archery 360 and Bowhunting 360 kiosk in the Member Services Area during the Show.
