Educational Seminars

The ATA Academy’s morning seminars offer business solutions that help ATA members grow, learn and profit. Listen to well-credentialed presenters share their expertise and insights about website designs, technical tuning, pro-shop marketing, customer service, coaching kids, managing clubs and many other money-making topics. Attend an ATA Academy seminar each day from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. at the 2019 Show to expand your knowledge and your business. Stay tuned for the full lineup of seminar topics.

USA Archery Level 1 Certifications

While you’re attending the Show, get certified as a USA Archery Level 1 archery coach. You’ll save time and money by getting certified at the Show while adding value to your retail shop. Instructor certification boosts your marketing value, provides staff with valuable skills and knowledge, and connects your store to programs that attract and engage new archers.

Participants taking the Level 1 Instructor Certification course are trained to teach beginner programs like Explore Archery. Trainees learn about range safety, range setup, shooting steps, equipment and repair, and programs and lesson plans. They can also receive USA Archery insurance coverage. Enroll now.

USA Archery Level 2 Certifications

If you’re already certified as a Level 1 instructor and offer classes at your shop, you still have room to improve. With Level 2 certification you can grow your business and increase your profits further. You can take the Level 2 course at the 2019 Show, and it’s available at a discounted rate. Plus, it’s tailored to ATA-member retailers, who already know lots about archery.

The Level 2 instructor certification course builds on training and information learned in the Level 1 course, and covers archery events, equipment and accessories, and athlete development. Trainees also learn the National Training System Steps of Shooting for compound and recurve bows. Certified Level 2 instructors can also teach the Level 1 instructor certification course, which generates money by training additional staff or camp counselors. Sign up now.

Scholastic 3-D Archery Certifications

Want to add a next-step archery program to your lineup? The Scholastic 3-D Archery program returns to the ATA Show by popular demand, and it’s available to retailers with Level 2 instructor certification. S3DA is one of the country’s fastest growing youth archery programs. This after-school initiative teaches students 8 to 18 about 3-D shooting, indoor and outdoor target archery, and bowhunting ethics.

Earning an S3DA certification boosts opportunities for pro shops by providing more tools to start archery programs. In turn, S3DA helps youths and young adults learn multiple archery disciplines like bowhunting, competition and advanced programs. Class seats are limited. Click here to register for S3DA instruction.
