Are you excited about cool, innovative hunting products debuting at the 2017 ATA Trade Show? We are!

That’s why the Archery Trade Association created the Innovation Zone in 2010. The “Zone” helps young, innovative companies and entrepreneurs get some attention from the industry. They might not be ready to invest in a Trade Show booth, but they’re eager to display their innovative hunting products on or near the ATA Trade Show floor.

This year we asked our IZ exhibitors to tell us about their latest and greatest products. Eight couldn’t contain their excitement, and jumped at the chance to further market their products.

Stop by the Innovation Zone, which is in exhibit halls I and J of the Indiana Convention Center, Jan. 10-12 in Indianapolis to visit these eight companies and the other 28 exhibitors in booths IZ-1 through IZ-36:

1. E-Z-V Bow Sight

Venator Gear’s E-Z-V Sight uses algorithms and geometry to frame the game animal’s vitals within a “V,” thus eliminating the need to range its distance. See it in ATA Trade Show booth IZ-14. Photo Credit: Venator Gear

Venator Gear’s E-Z-V Sight makes pin sights and range-finders obsolete by using algorithms and geometry to frame the game animal’s vitals within a “V,” thus eliminating the need to range its distance. Yes, simply frame the animal’s rib cage inside the V and shoot. The revolutionary design encompasses the width of the animal’s vitals and matches the elevation of the bow’s trajectory path to automatically provide the right hold. The sturdy structure of the “V” configuration also eliminates the use of fragile fiber optics, so this sight lasts. Simply draw, frame and shoot. It’s that E-Z.

2. Antler Action Remote Rattle

The Antler Action Remote Rattle by Antler Action Products mounts near the ground, well away from the hunter. See the hands-free remote rattler in ATA Trade Show booth IZ-4. Photo Credit: Antler Action Products

The Antler Action Remote Rattle by Antler Action Products mounts near the ground, well away from the hunter. Strap it to a tree or post, and activate it by pulling its line with one hand. The device falls silent the instant you release the line, so you won’t fumble to stow the rattle. You’ll be ready when the big buck comes in. This product is made in the USA. It’s built to last and includes a lifetime warranty.

7. SpinNock Boosts Accuracy

The new SpinNock lets arrows spin independently of the bowstring the instant they’re released. SpinNock fits all standard and small-diameter arrows, and weighs the same as a standard nock. See it in ATA Trade Show booth IZ-26. Photo Credit: SpinNock

The new SpinNock lets arrows spin independently of the bowstring the instant they’re released, thus improving accuracy while decreasing drag and noise. In contrast, most nocks don’t let the arrow start spinning until it separates entirely from the bowstring. But because the bowstring gets torqued to one side as the nock separates from the string, the torqued string makes the arrow spin the wrong direction. That increases drag, decreases accuracy and increases noise.

Besides solving those problems, SpinNock fits all standard and small-diameter arrows, and weighs the same as standard nocks. You’ll notice the difference with your first shot. You’ll also soon shoot at greater distances with more accuracy and less noise.
