Whether you’re undecided about joining the Archery Trade Association, or you’re unsure what an ATA membership entails, read on to learn how you’ll benefit as an ATA member.
1. ATA Resources Help Your Business Grow
The ATA is constantly developing resources that benefit its members. ATA Connect, for example, is an online discussion forum exclusively for ATA retailers. It’s a safe, confidential space to network and tackle business challenges through constructive discussion. You can share ideas, ask questions, get advice and connect with other archery and bowhunting retailers.
The ATA also offers two consumer websites and social-media communities that drive traffic to ATA-member stores. These websites deliver valuable archery and bowhunting content that engages your audience and directs them to your store with the ATA’s store locator. The easy-to-use locator lets customers use computers or mobile devices to find nearby archery stores.
2. ATA’s Members-Only Portal
The ATA’s member login portal is reserved for ATA members. Just set up a unique login, and then sign in to renew your membership, update your company’s information, register for the Trade Show, and look up members-only information. The portal stores documents, industry data, research reports and more, keeping you up to date and in the know. Members can also view legal resources, the minimum advertised pricing resource library, and the ATA Show Guide and Membership Directory.

3. Membership Directory Listing and Access
As an ATA member, your store information is automatically included in the ATA Show Guide and Membership Directory, which is distributed for free at the ATA Trade Show. This convenient publication features valuable contact information for networking and capitalizing on business opportunities.
ATA members can view the Show Guide and Membership Directory through the member login portal at ArcheryTrade.org. Those wishing to download it must sign a confidentiality agreement and be verified by ATA staff to ensure they’re an authorized source with ATA-member credentials. This process ensures the privacy of everyone on the list.
4. Admission to the ATA Trade Show
The ATA Trade Show is the archery and bowhunting industry’s largest and most-inclusive show. It gathers retailers, manufacturers, distributors and other industry professionals to network, write orders, score deals and solve industry challenges.
Only ATA members can attend. This members-only event is closed to the public. The Show’s strict members-only policy ensures attendees can focus on business without interruption.
The Show is a can’t-miss industry event. It attracts archery professionals from across the country, and even the world, to discuss the market, build relationships, try new products and grow their businesses. Join the ATA and secure your place at the 2019 Show.

5. Federal Excise Tax Support and Legislative Voice
The ATA provides free advice, information and direction to its members on FET regulations and issues. It also offers support to members who get audited by the IRS. To help members understand the FET and file tax returns, the ATA compiles helpful, informative articles, and is developing a free comprehensive FET guide.
The ATA also works on behalf of its members to enact laws and policies that help the archery and bowhunting industry. The ATA’s government-relations team advocates for you on issues like counterfeiting, hunting regulations, federal excise taxes and minimum advertised pricing.
6. Boost Profits, Reach New Customers
The ATA wants its members’ businesses to thrive, and it creates programs to help. Check these out:
