Beth Berkheimer joined the ATA on March 6, 2023, and lives in Mogadore, Ohio. She’s responsible for developing and directing the overall strategic planning, budget and execution of the ATA’s annual Trade Show. Berkheimer also works closely with stakeholders, oversees Trade Show sales and marketing plans, and leads the Trade Show staff to develop business objectives, concepts, deliverables and timelines for the Show.
Her background includes nearly 30 years of experience operating, managing and planning meetings, events, trade shows, conferences, exhibitions and multi-million dollar worldwide incentive travel programs.
She’s been a member and supporter of the events industry since 2006, when she began her journey to become a Certified Meeting Professional. She continues to maintain her CMP and also earned and maintains her Certified in Exhibition Management certification. In addition, she served as a board member and co-chair of the PCMA POWER Chapter Education Committee, dedicated to serving meeting and event professionals with continuing education and community service.
In the past, Berkheimer purchased and gifted many bows, accessories and hunting apparel, but she never tried archery or bowhunting until joining the ATA. She’s a quick learner and looks forward to shooting recreationally with her husband and kids, aka the gift recipients.
Berkheimer’s love of event planning extends into her personal life where she organizes birthday parties, summer gatherings, and outings with friends and family.
Berkheimer and her husband Eric are empty nesters and live with their three beagles: Beau, Ruger and Baker. They spend summers on the Harley, with their kids, helping others, or in the woods on their four-wheelers and side-by-side. They raised five children: Chelsea serves in the United States Air Force; Conner served eight years in the United States Army and is an apprentice for the local sprinkler fitters union; Maureen serves in the United States Navy; Ian is an apprentice with the local IBEW electricians union; and Grant attends Stark State Community College. Beth is “Ama” to three grandchildren. Eric and Beth are also currently involved with a worldwide group dedicated to assisting police officers, firefighters and their families in times of need by hosting special events to raise money for financial assistance.
