Deb Colgrove is executive secretary of the Archery Range and Retailers Organization. She was appointed to the ATA Board of Directors in July 2017 to represent the ARRO buying group.
Colgrove oversees all aspects of ARRO, and works with its board of directors, and all ARRO members and supporting manufacturers.
Colgrove grew up in a family-run business that handled guns, ammunition and fishing tackle. She has co-owned and operated an archery range and retail store – Full Draw Archery – in Omaha, Nebraska, with her husband, Kent, since 1996. She is a Nebraska bowhunter education instructor, National Archery in the Schools Program BAIT instructor, and a USA Archery Level 3 coach/instructor. She also spent the past 10 years as secretary of the Nebraska State Archery Association, and the past three years as its treasurer.
Colgrove is excited to address industry challenges as an ATA Board member, and work with the ATA to strengthen the industry, bowhunting and recreational archery during her term.
“As the ARRO executive secretary, my voice is that of a retailer first,” Colgrove said. “During my ATA Board term, I hope I can continue to strengthen the relationship between the ATA, retailers and manufacturers. By ARRO having a voice with ATA’s representation, it will strengthen our buying group and provide positive feedback for our future as retailers.”
Colgrove also intends to communicate details of the ATA’s work, outreach programs and membership benefits to provide insights to the archery and bowhunting community.
She has been married for 32 years, and has three children and three grandchildren. She enjoys sharing her love for the outdoors, and her passion for recreational archery and bowhunting with family, friends and those new to the sport.
