Jennifer Mazur of Ashton, Maryland, joined the ATA in 2010 to build and maintain partnerships that advance bowhunting and archery programs. She manages the Archery Equipment Development Program and coordinates the ATA’s Archery Academy, a one-stop shop for archery programming and certification.
Jennifer also serves as a consultant for Explore Bowhunting and Explore Bowfishing, and helps write and revise curriculums for these programs. In addition, she oversees the ATA Trade Show's Member Services Area, which includes continuing education to help retailers, program coordinators and more boost bowhunting and archery and better serve their customers.
Jennifer co-authored the Explore Archery curriculum with USA Archery and served as the primary author for the revised Level 1 and Level 2 certification manuals.
Earlier in her career, she wrote and implemented environmental education curriculum for Maryland’s Montgomery County and Calvert County public schools. As a naturalist for 17 years, Jennifer implemented many environmental and conservation programs within parks and recreation departments.
Jennifer has appeared on PBS Outdoors Maryland and FOX News. The Washington Post and numerous local papers have featured her and her innovative programs. She lives in Maryland with her husband and two children.
Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in natural resources management from the University of Maryland. She has 17 years of experience as a naturalist and recreation coordinator in county parks. Before joining the ATA full time, she worked as an educational consultant for Explore Bowhunting.
