Jill Schaben joined the Archery Trade Association in October 2018 as senior manager of marketing and communications. She uses her enthusiasm to promote the industry and grow the organization. She believes strongly in the ATA’s purpose, and is thrilled to be a contributor.
Jill grew up on a farm in southwestern Iowa, where she was instilled with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed. She attended Iowa State University, and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication with a focus on visual communication. After college, she moved to western Nebraska to work at Cabela’s corporate headquarters as a graphic designer. She then returned to Iowa to live closer to her family, and spent 10 years working as the marketing manager for a multiple-location John Deere dealership.
Jill was raised alongside avid hunters and anglers, and is excited to delve deeper into archery and bowhunting. She is learning as much as possible about the sport through hands-on shooting and instruction, and is excited to take on a new beloved hobby.
Jill lives near Dunlap, Iowa, with her husband, Cody, and two young sons, Gauge and Jett. In her spare time she explores the outdoors, remodels homes, and writes children’s books.
