Joy Bastawrous joined the Archery Trade Assocation in June 2017. She is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans for the ATA Trade Show, and enhancing and encouraging participation and membership in the ATA.
Her primary role is working within the ATA’s Trade Show and membership team to strengthen the Trade Show, empower members to succeed, and help grow archery and bowhunting while maintaining the ATA’s brand identity, strategy and integrity.
Joy also works with exhibitors to guide them through the Trade Show’s promotion, marketing and sponsorship processes so they can capitalize on all the Show’s marketing and networking opportunities.
Joy brings over 16 years of marketing experience to the ATA, with a breadth of knowledge in multiple industries. Her expertise in marketing strategies, event planning, project management and efficient execution arm her with the tools to help ATA members fully profit from the Trade Show to enhance their business, and maximize the benefits of their ATA membership.
Joy previously worked in the corporate marketing departments of Fortune 500 companies. She then transitioned into independent marketing consulting, helping small- to medium-sized businesses reach their marketing potential.
Joy and her husband, John, live in Katy, Texas, a Houston suburb, with their three daughters and one dog. She enjoys the outdoors and has shot archery recreationally with her 10-year-old daughter, who is very interested in the sport. She enjoys cooking, traveling internationally, and spending quality time with her family.
Joy graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in communications, with an emphasis in marketing and advertising.
