Kayla Becker joined the ATA in November 2015 and works in its New Ulm, Minnesota, office. She’s a first point of contact for ATA members, potential members, and ATA Trade Show exhibitors and attendees.
Kayla helps enroll members, process payments and promote ATA’s retailer programs. She works to create a positive experience for exhibitors and attendees of the ATA Trade Show, from registration to attending the Show. Kayla also plans and coordinates ATA-affiliated meetings and events, including assisting the National Deer Alliance.
What Kayla enjoys most about her job is hearing from manufacturers and retailers about their joys and concerns. Their input helps her better understand how to serve them through the ATA’s outreach programs and at the Trade Show.
Kayla is passionate about bowhunting, and has participated in archery since childhood. She was a member of the University of Minnesota’s archery club, where she shared her archery passions by teaching the sport and getting more people involved and excited about archery.
She earned her certification for basic archery instruction through the National Archery in the Schools Program in 2012, and earned her USA Archery Level 2 certification in 2016. Kayla also worked as a line judge for Minnesota’s state NASP tournament in 2013.
Kayla works seasonally as a youth volleyball coach. Along with her husband, Dominic, Kayla enjoys spending free time outdoors by hunting, fishing, horseback riding, relaxing by a lake, or tending their goats and cattle.
Kayla attended the University of Minnesota-Crookston. She graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing.
