Randy Kitts is owner and president of Black Eagle Arrows LLC and Conquest Archery LLC. He oversees all aspects of business, and creates, plans and executes business and marketing strategies for both companies.
Before starting his businesses, Kitts worked in the archery industry six years. He also worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement, an omni-channel retailer, for 14 years. He started as a store manager and was promoted to district manager and regional sales director, before being promoted to his final position as a marketing director. He helped manage over 15,000 employees in 137 stores, and he oversaw a $4.7 billion sales budget. His business training and work experience taught him how to run and maintain a business.
Kitts begins his four-year term on the ATA Board of Directors on April 1. He said he’s humbled and honored to join the Board, and is eager to collaborate with ATA members and fellow Board members to accurately represent everyone.
“The landscape is changing,” Kitts said. “The customer is different, and I hope we can adapt to keep all forms of archery vibrant for future generations. We must face industry headwinds with courage and conviction to better serve our members and communities. My goal is to serve to the best of my ability and potential.”
Kitts hopes to help tackle counterfeit-product challenges, increase participation in all archery disciplines, and educate dealers about ATA-member tools and resources.
