ATA ePRO

David Wagner bought Shawenee Creek Outfitters in Linton, Indiana, three months ago and knew the shop had a lot of problems, but was unsure how to fix them. After sitting in Randy Phillip’s seminar session, “Survival Guide for Archery Retailers,” he learned about the new ATA ePRO software, and purchased the program a few hours later.

ATA ePRO will help your pro shop become more productive and profitable. Its features help you improve customer service, track work orders, integrate all shop operations, and increase profits from your archery range.

“It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for,” Wagner said. “The first thing that caught my attention was the fact that the software was designed specifically for archery retailers. Its functions, user-friendly format and established work order template, tailored to enter archery equipment, will improve the workflow and efficiencies in my shop. It’s a problem-solving software!”

Retail Growth Initiative Program

The Retail Growth Initiative (RGI) program provides archery retailers with tools and techniques to help improve the profitability of their archery range. After an assessment of your shop’s individual needs, ATA staff will help you develop a customizable plan based on your business needs, budget and the local market. The program can help you increase foot traffic, range profits, equipment sales and traffic to your website.

“ATA members need to take advantage of this program,” said Nicole Nash, ATA’s manager of retail programs. “The program can provide retailers with opportunities to grow their customer base and create an archery home for beginners. We will take retailers through concepts to improve their business and help them devise a plan on where to begin to best succeed.”

Contact the ATA business office at (866) 266-2776 to take advantage of this free member benefit.

Archery Equipment Development Program

The Archery Equipment Development Program is new to ATA. The program benefits both manufacturers and retailers by providing manufacturers with an opportunity to get their equipment tested in an objective way, while identifying products for retailers to provide in their shop for customers new to archery.

On the manufacturer side: the program tests products, such as targets, bows and accessories, for durability and affordability to get a better field for how youth, women and beginners react to products. After the product has been tested, manufacturers will then receive a detailed summary of consumer feedback on their product.

On the retailer side: the program identifies products that have been vetted and field-tested to ensure positive experiences for consumers. The program also makes retailers aware of all the products available for their store.

Manufacturers can contact Jennifer Mazur, ATA’s director of archery and bowhunting programs, at (301) 580-1238 or Jennifermazur@archerytrade.org to get involved.
