he ATA’s Explore Bowhunting and Explore Bowfishing programs will bring new customers to your doorstep, put money in your cash register and help your business grow. Not to mention they’re free in the Member Services Area in Exhibit Hall F at the 2018 Show.
Explore Bowhunting is an educational program that helps instructors, educators and program leaders teach kids basic bowhunting skills. Explore Bowfishing was modeled after ATA’s successful Explore Bowhunting program and teaches kids basic bowfishing skills.
Archery is big right now, use that to your advantage. A Responsive Management study found that 9.9 percent of Americans 18 and older shot archery sports in 2015. That’s 23.8 million Americans! And of that 9.9 percent, 6.5 percent shot archery only, 1.2 percent hunted with a bow exclusively and 2.3 percent did both. That means most archers shoot just for fun and might want to try something new. How about the Explore Bowhunting and Explore Bowfishing programs?
These programs serve as next-step classes to spark interest and inspire a passion for bowhunting and bowfishing among participants. Explore Bowhunting and Explore Bowfishing introduce people to the possibilities archery can offer. Hook them and they’ll return to your shop for more classes, equipment and fun!
“Visiting the Member Services Area gives retailers a rare opportunity to engage personally with programs that can increase their profits,” said Emily Beach, ATA’s senior director of outreach and education. “It’s critical that retailers devote a few minutes to investing in growing their businesses. A quick stop at the MSA offers access to classes that create sustainable bowhunting customers, resources to grow their recreational archery customer base, and our store locators that steer customers to their shops.”
