The annual Archery Trade Association Trade Show is the archery and bowhunting industry’s largest event. It’s a member-driven show that promotes commerce within this industry; and gathers all of its new, exciting products in one massive hall for everyone to see, test and evaluate.
If you like archery and bowhunting, the ATA Trade Show, Jan. 10-12, in Indianapolis, probably sounds like a must-do event. But (Here it comes …), we have some good news and sad news to share.
The sad news? We’ll just come right out and say it: The ATA Trade Show is closed to the public. The Show is a members-only event for archery and bowhunting manufacturers, retailers, and other industry professionals. They attend the Show to write orders and do business. You must be an ATA member or associated with a verified ATA-member company to attend.
This exclusionary rule helps industry members focus on networking, industry growth and business transactions while attending the Show.
The good news? If you’re not an ATA member, and you’re ineligible for membership (see below), the ATA still helps you follow the action and feel like you’re at the Trade Show.

1. Follow @ATATradeShow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Stay tuned to our social-media channels and ArcheryTrade.org for updates on Show happenings and general Show coverage. We’ll post videos, photos and articles to keep you involved and informed! Join the conversation and comment on social media using #ATA2017.
2. Explore Archery 360’s web and social sites.
For coverage of the newest archery gear, including target and recreational archery products, keep an eye (or two) on Archery360.com. If you have an archery and bowhunting business and are eligble for membership, click here to join the ATA.
Read the membership descriptions and check the requirements to determine whether you should submit the Standard Membership Application or the Retail Membership Application.
Please note: Membership renewals and Trade Show registrations by mail, email, phone and fax closed Dec. 22. Online registraton remains open throughout the Show. On-site registration opens Sunday, Jan. 8. If you plan to register on-site, please bring your completed registration form to the registration desk in Indianapolis. If you plan to attend the Show and are not an ATA member, you must also bring your membership application and verification to the Trade Show membership counter.
