The ATA was proud to partner with and support both NASP® and S3DA during their developmental stages, financially and with other resources. It’s been exciting to watch both groups grow into strong, self-sustaining organizations as they continue to reach millions of young archers in different ways.
The influence these two groups have on the introduction of archery to so many young people has had a profound impact on participation levels in both target shooting and bowhunting. And they continue to grow!
ATA has just announced Friends of NASP®, a new program designed to connect ATA member retailers with local NASP® programs. See the full article announcement in this newsletter. This initiative will:
– Educate retailers on equipment regulations so they will be in a better position to sell and service participants.
– Connect retailers with local NASP® programs to expand their current and future customer base.
– Provide proven strategies for hosting NASP®–themed events to help build a sense of community around the store.
ATA also has an exciting new venture underway with S3DA. While details will be announced soon, I can tell you it will put S3DA on a stage in front of ATA member manufacturers, target archers and bowhunting consumers—while offering S3DA participants an opportunity to compete in a new, exciting environment. Watch your email for this exciting announcement in the coming week.
These new programs reflect ATA’s ongoing support of NASP® and S3DA because their mission is our mission: “to grow participation in the sport of archery and bowhunting.” Finding new ways to support that growth is key for the industry, and ATA is spearheading that effort.
