M&M Archery: Growing Archery One Relationship at a Time
Some archery shops do more than serve customers—they help shape the future of the sport. Learn why M&M Archery was selected as this month's ATA Member Spotlight.

By: Nicole Nash, Senior Manager of Outreach

Some ATA members do more than serve their local communities—they help shape the future of the archery industry. That’s why M&M Archery was selected for this Member Spotlight.

For nearly 15 years, the Kentucky retailer has invested in archery far beyond its storefront, serving on the ATA Retail Council, helping develop retailer resources, teaching as a certified ATA Bow Technician Instructor and creating opportunities for youth and families to discover the sport.

At the heart of it all is a simple belief:

“We started our business to grow youth archery. If you don’t continue the growth and knowledge, there is no future.”

That purpose has guided M&M Archery since day one. The shop was never just about selling bows—it was about creating a place where people could ask questions, learn new skills and build confidence. Whether introducing a first-time archer to the sport, helping an experienced bowhunter tune equipment or mentoring the next generation of technicians, education is at the center of everything they do.

Their passion for learning naturally led to a deeper involvement with the ATA. The ideas, relationships and resources they found through the association helped them grow their business and strengthen their local archery community. Today, they’re paying that experience forward by sharing their perspective as retailers to help shape resources that benefit fellow ATA members across the country.

That same mindset carries into their approach to customer service. As a certified ATA Bow Technician Instructor, they know that credentials matter—but so does the willingness to keep learning. They believe even seasoned professionals can gain new skills and perspectives, and that sharing knowledge with customers builds trust that lasts well beyond a single visit.

After nearly 15 years, what excites the team most hasn’t changed. It’s watching someone pick up a bow for the first time, seeing their confidence grow and knowing they’ve helped create another lifelong archer.

M&M Archery’s story is a reminder that the strongest businesses aren’t built on transactions—they’re built on relationships, education and a commitment to growing the sport for generations to come.

Follow M&M Archery on Facebook to see how they’re continuing to inspire archers across Kentucky and beyond.
