PSA: New #ATA2020 Event! Attend “Connections: An ATA Happy Hour”
Enjoy free food, drinks, games and entertainment at the ATA Trade Show’s newest event.

What’s the best way to enjoy yourself after a long, busy day at the 2020 ATA Trade Show?
Attend the ATA’s new event, “Connections: An ATA Happy Hour,” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, in Exhibit Hall J.
All registered Trade Show attendees are welcome. Watch and interact with elite and celebrity shooters. You can also network with retailers, manufacturers, ATA staff, and like-minded business professionals over free beer, food, games and entertainment.

The Connections event offers a great way to watch elite archers in action, share laughs and stories with friends, and celebrate your hard work and accomplishments.
A competition featuring elite archers will be the event’s main attraction. Watch these top archers hit long-distance bull’s-eyes. The competition will be unlike anything you’ve seen at other happy hour events. It’s an exciting element that will make for a memorable experience.
To keep the party going, you’ll even get to shoot against the elites in friendly competitions on the Show’s certification lanes. Everyone, including the pros, will use basic “no-frills” gear to keep things even while testing their skills and shooting techniques. If you miss out during the event, don’t worry. The competition will remain open throughout the Show.
The pros will also share shooting and equipment tips with attendees during the event. Learn all you can, and then pass it on to your customers, who will be impressed to hear who taught you. If you don’t think they’ll believe you, get a photo of you with an elite archer, and then frame and display it at your shop.
This two-hour event will provide plenty of seating if you’d rather sit and chat with friends over free beer and hors d’oeuvres. And when you’re feeling more energetic you can play backyard games near the entrance.

Connections: An ATA Happy Hour is also a great place to learn! Receive brochures and practical knowledge about programs and revenue-generating ideas for your shop. Discover how to include USA Archery’s Explore Archery program in your business, and learn how rental equipment, birthday parties, and corporate events can boost your profit and profile. In addition, the National Field Archery Association will offer an educational Explore Bowhunting opportunity.
Maria Lewis, ATA’s senior director of the Trade Show and membership, is excited about the new event and hopes Trade Show attendees and exhibitors will join the fun.
“It’s informal, free and sure to entertain,” Lewis said. “We welcome all registered ATA attendees to join us in Hall J immediately after the Trade Show floor closes.”
