In a bold move that reflects the evolution of archery and bowhunting, the Archery Trade Association has announced an expanded format for the 2026 ATA Show. This reimagined experience will be held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, January 7-11, 2026, and will feature three separate events held over consecutive days: the ATA Trade Show, a brand-new consumer expo and a national indoor archery tournament.

The result? One location. Multiple events. Unlimited opportunities.

This expanded event is more than a change in format; it’s a strategic move forward for the archery and bowhunting industry. It’s designed to bring the community together for the biggest week in archery, increasing visibility, strengthening connections and ultimately driving growth at every level.

ATA Trade Show: Jan. 7-8, 2026

At the heart of this multi-day celebration remains the ATA Trade Show, an event for retailers and manufacturers only, which has supported the archery and bowhunting industry for nearly 30 years. In 2026, the ATA Trade Show will transition to a focused two-day format, designed to deliver more value while maintaining its exclusive, members-only status.

This two-day, business-first experience brings together a full range of industry professionals, from manufacturers unveiling the latest gear to retailers making key purchasing decisions that will determine their inventory for the remainder of the year.

For brands and buyers alike, it’s the place to:

- See and test new products
- Meet face-to-face with industry representatives
- Place orders and plan for the upcoming buying season
- Take advantage of Show-only pricing and exclusive promotions, including the Super Deal Gift Card and Big Buck Tags coupon book
- Attend educational and networking events, including ATA’s Industry Celebration

Archery & Bowhunting Supershow: Jan. 9-10, 2026

Immediately following the ATA Trade Show, the brand-new Archery & Bowhunting Supershow will kick off. Held January 9-10, 2026, this ticketed expo is open to the public, giving archery and bowhunting enthusiasts the chance to explore the latest gear, connect with top archery brands and enjoy live demonstrations, all under one roof.

“TenPoint is excited to launch our 2026 lineup, and the Archery & Bowhunting Supershow will give bowhunting diehards a chance to both see and shoot our new crossbows that will drive the market in 2026,” said Keith Arnold, VP of sales at TenPoint Crossbow Technologies. “We look forward to seeing some trophy pics, swapping stories, answering questions and talking new products with our loyal customers!”

NFAA Indoor Archery Tournament: Jan. 9-11, 2026

Alongside the Archery & Bowhunting Supershow, the excitement continues with NFAA’s Rushmore Rumble, a national indoor archery tournament traditionally held in Yankton, South Dakota, that’s relocating to Indianapolis for 2026. Taking place January 9-11, 2026, this tournament will draw archers from around the world, creating a high-energy atmosphere to add to the week’s excitement.

"We’re thrilled to join forces with ATA to create an event that brings together archers of all disciplines from across the country for a true celebration of archery,” said Bruce Cull, executive director of the NFAA. “This partnership allows us to grow something really special, offering an experience that not only showcases top-level competition but also gives our tournament attendees a first look at the newest innovations in both target archery and bowhunting.”

Why This Format is Important to the Industry

In recent years, the archery and bowhunting industry has experienced steady growth in both participation and product development. But one thing has become increasingly clear; for the industry to grow, retailers and manufacturers must work together to strengthen their connection with the public.

That’s what makes the 2026 format so important. It doesn’t just serve the existing archery community—it welcomes new participants. It connects brands with their customers and builds awareness, while shining a light on the entire archery experience.

Benefits Across the Board

This new format ensures that each part of the archery industry benefits:

- Manufacturers benefit from four full days of product exposure: two for direct B2B sales and two to build consumer demand on the Supershow floor.
- Retailers benefit from early access to Show-special pricing and offers, direct ordering opportunities and post-Show consumer excitement that drives in-store sales.
- Consumers experience the excitement of the archery community firsthand and walk away with a deeper connection to the brands and products they love.

Most importantly, the entire industry benefits from a single, combined event that supports multiple business goals at the same time.
