A reliable website is essential for a business to be successful. The ATA offers an online course through our Learning Center that teaches users how to create a dynamic, functional website without blowing the budget. We’ll teach you how to use your website to inform your customers, allow them to connect with you, generate new prospective customers, and encourage them to follow through with an in-person visit to your store.
The course includes information about how to:
- Secure your website domain
- Build the website with Wix
- Find a web host
- Manage your Google business listing
- Add a Google Map to the site
- Add video content
- Increase customer reviews
The course is free through the Learning Center and is available exclusively to ATA members!

The ATA provides a handful of education seminars in the mornings before the ATA Show opens. The seminars are conducted by industry professionals who are experts in their field. The seminars are recorded, so you can attend them in-person free of charge if you are attending the ATA Show, or you can purchase the recordings online after the Show. Stay tuned for the seminar lineup for the 2026 ATA Show in Indianapolis.
Topics from the 2025 ATA Show include:
- “Building a Culture of Innovation” with Randy Walk
- “Selling Hunting Clothing: Strategies for Success” with Mike Meiran
- “The Magic Key to Archery Consistency” with George Ryals IV
- “All Things Bowstrings” with Eric Griggs and Cody Hall
The cost of the course is $100 for ATA members and $500 for nonmembers through the Learning Center.

The ATA recently debuted the Recurve Bow Technician Certification Course in April. The course covers:
- Basics of proper recurve shooting form
- Recurve bow parts, including their design and function
- Proper bow fitment
- How to set up recurve bows for recreational archery, traditional hunting, traditional 3D archery, barebow, and target recurve.
The recurve course joins the growing lineup of ATA certification courses, which also includes compound and crossbow courses. The accreditation gives you the opportunity to promote yourself as an ATA-certified technician. You’ll receive a certificate for each staff member who’s been certified, as well as a large banner to hang on your wall to show your customers that you’re a trusted tech.
The courses are available to both members and nonmembers at $600 per course, $995 for two, or $1,395 for three.
