Archery Outreach Manager

Title: Archery Outreach Manager

Supervisor: Senior Director of Education and Outreach

Status: Regular, Full Time, Exempt

Position Summary

Are you passionate about growing the sport you love? In this role, you’ll manage some of the archery industry’s most impactful digital tools — connecting archers of all experience levels to the ranges, retailers, programs, and communities that keep them in the field and coming back for more. If you believe archery and bowhunting belongs in every community, this is your chance to make that happen.

Responsibilities

– Maintain, evaluate, and manage the ATA’s Archery Passport App, including working directly with the app provider on updates and changes.
– Maintain, evaluate, and manage the ATA’s Archery Store Locator, collaborating with the Director of Membership on updates.
– Oversee Archery360 with a focus on social media and the newsletter, managing all posts, website content, and newsletter distribution.
– Analyze and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Archery Passport and the Store Locator.
– Stay current on new and emerging technologies and programs that continue to meet end-user needs.
– Present information in a way that is meaningful and engaging for ATA’s retail members.
– Provide excellent customer service to retail members and consumers.
– Assist with other Outreach and Education efforts as time allows.

Qualifications

– Hands-on archery and/or bowhunting experience required — you understand the sport from the inside.
– Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze problems and develop practical, results-driven solutions.
– Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and web platforms.
– Experience working with apps or digital platforms, including collaborating with tech agencies or developers on updates and improvements.
– Experience creating and managing social media content across multiple platforms.
– Effective communicator capable of blending creative expression and critical analysis to make compelling recommendations.
– Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
– Initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small-team environment.
– Proficiency in general office software programs.
– Willingness to travel up to 5 times per year.
– A genuine commitment to growing archery and bowhunting.

Travel:

National travel is occasionally required for this position, between 1-5 times per year.

Job Type:

This is a fully remote position with flexible hours, generous PTO, and some working expenses covered.

Compensation

Compensation package is commensurate with experience, with an anticipated salary range of $48,000–$50,000.
