The COVID-19 pandemic is changing everything, including the 2021 ATA Trade Show. As we continue to assess safety procedures for the Jan. 7-9 Show at the Indiana Convention Center, we’re adding an event, making subtle procedural changes, and bringing back popular events at the annual Show.

New Event

The ATA is debuting one new event at #ATA2021. You don’t want to miss it!

- Archery Industry Masterclass

The pre-show “Archery Industry Masterclass” offers in-depth information on coaching, shooting, marketing, archery tech, and business operations. The course will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a fee. More information will follow.

Subtle Changes

Happy Show attendees are informed and prepared. Here’s a heads-up on what to expect at #ATA2021.

- Limited Onsite Registration

The ATA’s priority is the health and safety of its members, their families, and businesses. All attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to register for their badges before the Show to minimize contact points. Registration for the 2021 ATA Trade Show closes Dec. 22. Only current retail members can register onsite. New membership applications will not be accepted or processed onsite.

- QR Code or Photo ID Required to Get Your Show Badge

Each registered attendee will receive an Express Pass with a QR Code. The Express Pass lets you pick up your Show badge and lanyard at an Express Pass station at the Show. If you don’t bring your QR code, you must visit the Main Registration counter and present a valid picture ID to receive your badge.

- Featured Products Ballot in the Big Buck Tags Coupon Book

The Featured Products Showcase gives attendees a product preview. Manufacturers submitted products at the 2020 Show to compete for honors through the ATA’s “Best in Show” awards program. Instead of picking up a ballot at the Featured Product’s entrance at the 2021 Show, as was done in the past, attendees will find their ballot in their Big Buck Tag coupon book. Visit the Featured Products Area in Exhibit Hall F to review products and vote by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7.

Also, instead of voting for products in five categories — women, youth, archery, bowhunting and breakthrough — all products will be judged in one category at the 2021 Show.

The ATA created the “Best in Show Awards” in 2020 to honor members’ achievements in three categories: Impact Awards, Featured Product Showcase, and New Product Launch Showcase.

Fan Favorites

Other returning top-notch events at #ATA2021 include:

- Buyer Day

Buyer Day restricts the Show floor to verified buyers and exhibitors Jan. 7, Day 1 of the 2021 Show. Buyer Day ensures buyers and manufacturers can focus on order writing, business planning, and new-product evaluations the first 9½ hours of the three-day Show. All verified Show attendees can hit the floor Jan. 8-9.

- New Product Launch Showcase

The ATA gathers all recently introduced products in one convenient place, which is the New Product Launch Showcase in the Crossroads hallway near Main Registration. Visit the displays on Day 1 to see the new products. Six industry experts will vote on the products that day, and the ATA will announce the winners during the Show. Swing by the displays again on Day 2 or 3 to see which products won “Best in Show” awards.
