Course content for the ATA’s new Crossbow Technician Certification course is now live. The course launched at the 2024 ATA Show and was modeled after the ATA’s original Bow Technician Certification course for compound bows. ATA members can sign up for either course to gain immediate access to the on-demand educational video materials.

Watch the video above for a sneak peek at what to expect in ATA’s Crossbow Technician Certification course, which has an on-demand online component and an in-person practical assessment. In short, the course covers numerous maintenance tasks, including crossbow assembly and common services like string and cable replacement and cam timing, on a variety of crossbow styles and brands. Students will also receive information on how to diagnose causes of damage on crossbows.

Each certification course (crossbow and compound bow) costs $600. Individuals can sign up for both courses at a discounted price of $995, a savings of over $200. Use code “BOWCOMBO” to receive the special price. Click here to enroll.
