The 2023 ATA Trade Show opened at 8:30 a.m., and just like that the Show is underway! After the National Anthem played, ATA members from across the country took their first steps onto the Show floor, marking the start of the industry’s biggest event of the year.

Here’s the rundown of the different features on — and off — the Show floor at this year’s event.

Real Quick: What’s Not on the Show Floor

New Product Launch Showcase

Exhibitors came to impress and launched over 120 new products this morning in Indianapolis. Companies worked behind the scenes over the past few years to develop new products and keep them a secret until the Show. The New Product Launch Showcase is in the Crossroad Corridor across from Main Registration. Check out all the products introduced at the ATA Show in one convenient location and head to the exhibitors' booths afterward to place orders and stock your shelves with new, exciting products in 2023.

Main Registration

If you need anything, the staff at Main Registration in the Hoosier Corridor can help. You can register on-site, reprint your badge and ask ATA staff questions about the Show floor and your ATA-member benefits.

Educational Events

While Coffee Talks are on the Show floor in the MyATA Area, the seminars and archery instructor certifications are in rooms off the Show floor. Seminars are from 8 to 9:15 a.m. in Room 133-137 on Days 2 and 3. Archery instructor certifications are in Room 145.

What’s on the Show Floor

FYI: Today, Jan. 11, is Buyer Day, which restricts the Show floor to verified buyers and exhibitors — red and yellow badges. Buyer Day ensures buyers and manufacturers can focus on order writing, business planning and new-product evaluations for the first 9 ½ hours of the Show. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and plan to visit with your most important business accounts first. The Show floor opens to all attendees on Days 2 and 3.

Exhibitor Booths

The 2023 ATA Show has 466 exhibitor booths, and each booth has sales staff and brand representative ready to assist you. Use the printed Floor Map, available at Main Registration and the Express Pass station, or the ATA’s mobile app to identify, locate and navigate to your favorite exhibitors.

Innovation Zone

This special area features 23 total exhibitors, 11 of which are making their ATA Trade Show debut. The Innovation Zone is located in Exhibit Hall H and is reserved for manufacturers new to the industry who might not want to rent a Trade Show booth but want to display their innovative products at the Show. These spaces are smaller, but they still make a big impact. Help them launch their careers and products and visit them for more information.

MyATA Area with Information Booth and Bowhunters United Store

The MyATA Area is centrally located on the Show floor in Exhibit Hall F. The space will have Coffee Talk presentations throughout the day. The Information Booth is constantly tended by an ATA-staff member if you have questions, need directions and recommendations, or want to sign up for ATA’s new Bow Technician Certification course.

Featured Products Showcase

Get an idea of almost all the products at the Show by visiting the Featured Products Showcase in Exhibit Hall H. This area has tables stacked with products and pamphlets to quickly and easily obtain information and inspect products on your own before visiting the exhibitors' booths.

Nonprofit Row

The Show gathers several archery-related nonprofit groups in a particular area on the Show floor. These booths are in a row in Exhibit Hall C. Discover ways to partner or get involved with these organizations to improve your business.

Food Courts and Seating Areas

Need a break or something to eat? Maintain your efficiency and stay on the Show floor by visiting a food court vendor in Exhibit Halls I and C to take a break and re-energize.

Shooting Lanes

Touch, feel and test drive one of the many bows, or targets and arrows, in the shooting lanes located on the Show floor perimeter. Companies reserve shooting lanes and each brand has a representative available to share product specs and answer questions.

Tonight’s Events

ATA’s Media Summit

The ATA hosts a media summit each year to allow press, media and ATA members the opportunity to gather and discuss ideas and strategies to grow the archery and bowhunting community by recruiting newcomers, reaching audiences outside the hunting industry and creating a positive public image of hunters. The advice and concepts shared by our three presenters will help press members create educational, engaging and encouraging content for bowhunting newcomers and veterans. Join the conversation tonight from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Room 133.

The Connections Celebration, Presented by Mossy Oak

After the Show floor closes at 6 p.m., The Connections Event, presented by Mossy Oak opens! Head to the Sagamore Ballroom to enjoy free food, free beer and entertainment by country music artist Cole Chaney at 7 p.m. All you need is your Show badge to enter. While you’re there, listen to see who won an ATA Impact Award and which products in the New Product Launch Showcase won a Best in Show award.
