Do you wonder which free ATA resources our members consider the best and most helpful? Rather than make assumptions, we asked ATA members — your peers — to tell us themselves.
That required us to check the Resource Website, a members-only microsite with hundreds of free resources, to see the top five items ATA members download.
ATA-member retailers love this document, which features daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks for creating and running recreational archery programs. ATA staff created the one-page, customizable Excel document.
This six-page PowerPoint presentation outlines the three major types of intellectual property — trademarks, copyrights and patents — to help ATA members fight counterfeits and counterfeiters. Your MyATA service provider, Greenberg Traurig, LLP, created the document.

ATA staff worked with industry partners to create this 50-page guide to help state fish-and-wildlife agencies and park-and-recreation departments build archery ranges in community parks. It’s part of a three-book series that also includes “Archery Range Guide: Retail Edition” and “Archery Range Guide: Temporary Range.” Each guidebook includes tips, maps, graphics, photographs, case studies, how-to details, and possible layouts and suggestions for building ranges.
These guidelines ensure consistency for how the industry tests, measures and evaluates products to ensure uniformity and compatibility between components made by all companies. It also includes consistency in terminology, definitions, thread dimensions, distances between mounting holes for sights, and other specifications. This 66-page digital booklet was created by the ATA’s technical committee and representatives from ATA-member manufacturers.
ATA staff worked with professional photographers to provide ATA members with high-resolution digital archery and bowhunting images. The Resource Website has over 64 photos for members to use on social media, inside shops, or marketing materials. The most popular images are “Fletching” and “Bowhunting Photo V9.”
Many retailers also download the “Hunting Mentor Guide,” “Field to Fork Curriculum,” “Social Media Calendar,” and the “Archery Event Planning Workbook.” Meanwhile, manufacturers often download the “Federal Excise Tax Guidelines,” “Release and Wavier of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement,” and the “Archery Federal Excise Tax Collections 2010 – Present” document.
