Mitch Mitchell is vice president of marketing and brand for Pure Archery Group. He is responsible for the strategic brand direction for all Pure Archery Group brands, including Bowtech, Diamond, Excalibur, Black Gold, Tight Spot, Ripcord and Octane. Pure Archery Group is headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, with secondary manufacturing facilities in Kitchener, Ontario, and Bozeman, Montana.
Mitchell comes to the ATA Board with more than 25 years of experience planning and leading marketing and business strategies for a variety of brands across multiple industries. Prior to joining Pure Archery Group, he spent 12 years in the outdoor industry at Big Rock Sports and Calcutta Outdoors. Before that he worked eight years with a full-service advertising agency which gave him the perspective of collaborating with many different clients and industries. Mitch started his marketing career in the hotel and casino industry after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree along with a Master of Business Administration degree.
“I am extremely optimistic for the future of our great industry and honored to represent and serve the members of the ATA,” Mitchell said. “I look forward to collaborating with other members of the Board with the goal of supporting the growth of the overall archery industry.”
Mitchell resides in Greensboro, North Carolina, with his wife, Kelsey, and their three daughters. Mitch grew up bowhunting in the Mississippi delta and southern Georgia.
