ATA 2021 Online is Jan. 11-15, which is less than a month away. December is crazy-busy for most ATA members, so start planning for the online Show now. No, you don’t have to book a flight or secure a hotel room, but that doesn’t mean you should wing it.

The online ATA Show will feature 447 exhibitors, almost 700 Show specials, and many educational opportunities. ATA members can view Show specials in their mobile app or MyATA member dashboard Jan. 11-12, and capitalize on specials Jan. 13-15.

Let’s review several ways you can prepare for ATA 2021 Online.

Confirm or Renew Your Membership

Only ATA members have access to ATA 2021 Online’s offerings. Please confirm or renew your membership through your MyATA member dashboard. Click here to learn how to renew your membership. Watch this video to learn how to access and navigate your MyATA member dashboard.

Once your membership is current, log into your MyATA member dashboard with your email address and password to gain access to everything ATA 2021 Online offers. Renew your membership before Dec. 20. All ATA retailers with active memberships as of Dec. 20 will receive a packet by mail the first week of January. The packet includes an ATA calendar, a gift from Rock Ridge Outdoors, and an Exhibitor Show Special Guide that lists exhibitor specials.

Download the 2021 Mobile App

Use the 2021 Trade Show mobile app to view Show specials, receive notifications, “star” favorite exhibitors, browse the education schedule, and interact with ATA exhibitors and attendees. To download the ATA mobile app, search for “2021 ATA” in your app store. Click “allow” to receive notifications.

After downloading the app, enter a drawing to win 12 Victory Archery VAP SS 350 V1 arrows ($221 value) and a Scent Crusher gear bag ($199 value). Click the “Enter to Win” button on the home screen, and add your contact information.

Check Your Internet Connection

The online Show requires good internet service. Make arrangements to set up at a library or friend’s house if your shop or home lacks a strong connection.

Learn About the MyATA Learning Center

The ATA provides members many educational opportunities at the Show. Likewise, ATA 2021 Online offers free courses, and a two-day Masterclass event on business, coaching, marketing and archery tech. The Archery Industry Masterclass is $79 for all live and on-demand content during the two-day event. Each educational opportunity will be hosted at the MyATA Learning Center, which is accessible from the MyATA member dashboard. ATA staff encourage members to log on, navigate to the MyATA Learning Center, and poke around the site to learn its features and layout. The ATA offers many free courses in the MyATA Learning Center, so start learning today.

Enroll in the Archery Industry Masterclass

ATA members and nonmembers can sign up for the online Archery Industry Masterclass, a great opportunity that provides comprehensive information about business, coaching, marketing and archery tech. The Masterclass features live presentations and recorded material. Participants can ask questions or make comments using the presentations’ discussion feature. Content will be available and released Jan. 11-12, and remain available after the Show for registered members.

Click here to learn more about the Masterclass. Click here to register for the Masterclass through the MyATA Learning Center. Wendy Lang, ATA’s senior membership manager, recorded a video that explains the registration process. Click here to watch the video. You must log in using your MyATA member dashboard credentials.

View the Education Schedule

Your ATA will host several free online education sessions similar to seminars and Coffee Talks at the in-person Show. These sessions for ATA members will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Jan. 13-15. Courses will be live and recorded.

Recorded course topics include how to use point-of-sale systems, engaging female hunters, and how excise-tax dollars work to preserve game populations. The live sessions include growing your Instagram presence, how manufacturers avoid legal issues with product liability, and helping customers build arrows for increased accuracy and success. Click here to see the full education lineup. Mark your calendar to watch the events live. The recordings will not be available until spring.

Make Arrangements at Your Shop

Who will staff your shop while you connect with exhibitors, attend virtual educational events, and engage with ATA 2021 Online? Will you need extra staff to work the counter, or will you reduce your store hours and post a sign that says when you’re available? Start making those arrangements so you can help your customers while you attend the online ATA Show.

Check for Show Updates and Info

The ATA sends biweekly Trade Show Tuesday emails about ATA 2021 Online. Each email has useful information that helps members prepare for the Show. Read these communications carefully. If you’re not receiving these emails, please check your spam folder or click here to sign up to receive emails about ATA 2021 Online.

See Show Specials Jan. 11-12

ATA members will see at least two exclusive ATA 2021 Online show specials from most exhibitors. Some exhibitors upgraded their profile to promote more Show specials, and include product showcases, videos and press releases.

Retailers can preview exhibitor profiles and specials Jan. 11-12 in their MyATA member dashboard, and contact exhibitors Jan. 13-15 to pounce on Show specials. Plan to ensure you capitalize on special offers and discounts.
