The industry’s biggest event of the year is almost here! The exclusive 2023 ATA Trade Show is 35 days away! The Show brings together more buyers and more sellers than any other show. Plus, you can network, preview new products, take advantage of educational opportunities and do all or almost all your business for the year! #ATA2023 is a members-only event Jan. 11-13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Here's what you need to know about the upcoming ATA Show!

Deadlines

  • New Member Application: New members interested in attending the Trade Show should submit a membership application on or before Dec. 19 to guarantee their application will get processed.
  • Show Registration: Retailers should preregister for #ATA2023 badges by Jan. 6 to avoid an on-site registration fee.

To register, members can log in to their MyATA Member Dashboard using their username and password. Then, click “Register and Book Hotels” and follow the prompts. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a QR code, which allows you to print your badge at an express pass kiosk at the Show.

  • ATA Hotel Block: The deadline to book hotel rooms in the ATA Hotel Block is Dec. 23. Show goers can pick among 13 hotel options. You can book online or by email, phone or fax. View the ATA’s Hotel Information webpage for more information. Please note: Visit Indy is the ONLY authorized housing agency for the 2023 ATA Trade Show.

Registration Numbers

Registration numbers are steadily climbing! ATA staff confirmed they’re receiving 30-35 new retail accounts per week. December is typically the busiest month for registration, so we expect to see numbers continue to increase. That said, the number of individuals who registered for the 2023 Show already surpassed the number of people who registered by the same time last year! As of Dec. 5, 411 retail companies have registered along with 454 exhibiting companies. Attendees will have over 152,000 square feet of booth space (and counting) to walk and explore!

The Show floor will be buzzing with people, products and excitement. Check out the floor plan to orient yourself before arriving in Indianapolis. Plus, you can determine where specific exhibitors are, so you can plan an efficient travel route.  You can view the floor plan on the ATA website or in the 2023 ATA mobile app!

New Products

As of Dec. 5, over 50 new products will launch at the Show. See new bows from PSE and Bear Archery. Check out items from Victory Archery, Morrell Targets, Hawke Optics, Vantage Point Archery, Mystery Ranch, Xtreme Outdoor Products, Last Chance Archery, Big Tine and more! You’ll find these innovative products in the New Product Launch Showcase located in the Crossroads Corridor across from Registration.

Each product will be eligible to win a gold, silver or bronze ATA Best in Show award, voted on by a panel of industry experts and announced at the opening-night Connections Celebration on Jan. 11.

Trade Show Happenings

Between educational events (like seminars, coffee talks, archery instructor certifications and the Archery Industry Masterclass) and evening events (like Outtech Innovations, the Connections Celebration presented by Mossy Oak, and the Badlands Film Festival presented by Garmin) there’s a lot to do at the Show. View the schedule of events to see what’s happening. You can also attend booth events hosted by individual exhibitors and coordinate meetings or gatherings with your peers.

To make your life easier in Indianapolis, it’s best to create a tentative Show schedule in advance. Read ATA’s article “Make Your 2023 ATA Trade Show Game Plan” for tips and a full lineup of the Show offerings.

Important Reminders

  • Day 1 is Buyer Day: Buyer Day, dedicated specifically to verified buyers and exhibitors, kicks off the Show on Wednesday, Jan. 11. The buyers have the floor to themselves, which allows plenty of opportunities to conduct business and network with the exhibitors. All other badge types, including press, media, supporting and nonprofit members, state agency representatives and nonexhibiting manufacturers, can access the Show floor on Days 2 and 3, Thursday and Friday.
  • Download the Mobile App: Use the ATA’s free mobile app to start planning your trip to #ATA2023. The app features tools that will help you stay organized and informed throughout the Show.
  • Bring Your Express Pass Code: Print your registration confirmation email or save it to your phone and bring it to the Show. You’ll need to scan the QR code at an express pass kiosk in Indianapolis to print your badge.

If you need registration assistance or have questions about the Show, please email registration@archerytrade.org or call (866) 266-2776. We anticipate your arrival and look forward to seeing you soon!
