Retailer Membership FAQ

How do I become an ATA member?

Click “Join Today” and review category descriptions to determine your membership level. Submit your application online and include requested verification documents to avoid a delay in processing.

When should I apply?

The ATA membership year runs from April 1 to March 31 of the following year. Apply early to take advantage of member benefits year-round. Membership is required to attend the ATA Show. Please note that membership dues are not prorated.

How much is membership?

Membership dues vary depending on your member category.

Basic Retailers and Archery Pro Shop Retailers have a physical store location where consumers can see, touch and purchase archery and hunting-related products at their store. Basic Retailer dues are $75 per year and Archery Pro Shop Retailer dues are $150 per year.

Archery Reseller (online only, no store) and Archery Range Operator memberships are $150 per year.

Multi-Channel Retail Shops with five or more locations are $1,200 per year, which covers all locations.

Why should I become a member?

As an ATA member, your benefits include:

– ATA Show – access to the largest trade show in the industry. Take advantage of exclusive show-only discounts on site. Network with business professionals from the archery and bowhunting industry.

– Business Support – help build your business with free downloadable online resources and materials.

– Visibility – only ATA members are listed on our store locators, viewed by over 26,000 people per year.

– Education – Members can access discounted online courses via ATA’s Learning Center.

– Advocacy – we work to protect and defend our industry on your behalf and assist with grant funding to grow the sports of archery and bowhunting.

I filled out the application. Now what?

Once you submit your membership application with verification documents, please allow three to five business days for processing. Once processed, you will receive your “Welcome” email with helpful information and links.
