You might be wondering, “It’s July already?” Yep! And next thing you know you’ll be packing for the 2020 ATA Trade Show in Indianapolis, Jan. 9-11.

To spare yourself the stress of waiting till October or later to book a room, do it now! Here are four reasons to take action:

You’ll Complete the Registration Process

To scratch “Book hotel for the 2020 ATA Show” off your to-do list, you must be registered to attend the Show. Only registered attendees can book rooms in the ATA hotel block.

You have many reasons to register. Whether it’s awards, cash giveaways, new learning opportunities, or a day exclusively reserved for retailers, #ATA2020 might be the industry’s best Show yet. Click here to see what’s new for 2020.

Log into your MyATA member dashboard and click “Badge Registration” to register. Or visit the registration page for other ways to register.

You’ll gain access to the ATA hotel block during the final stage of the ATA Trade Show registration process. After registering online, be sure to click “check out.” Then click the “book hotel” link and follow the step-by-step instructions to quickly book rooms.

Click here for rates and a hotel map. To download printable hotel information, click here.

Please note:The Visit Indy Housing Bureau is the only authorized housing agency for the 2020 Show. Attendees who make financial agreements with any other housing company do so at their own risk. Visit Indy never solicits reservations by phone or email. If Visit Indy were to contact ATA members or attendees for any reason, its staff would call from the (317) area code. All other phone calls are scams.

If you followed the steps so far, you’ve knocked two items off your to-do list. If you’re still not convinced to book early, keep reading.

You’ll Choose Which Amenities Matter Most

The ATA has 13 hotels in its hotel block. Booking in the block ensures free internet access, Trade Show discounts, and other attendees nearby for networking. Further, every hotel offers exclusive guest amenities. Some hotels offer complimentary breakfasts, and others offer reduced parking rates. Some hotels offer both, plus restaurant discounts. No matter what you’re seeking, you’re sure to find a hotel room if you book early. If you wait, your options dwindle.

You Pick How Far to Walk

The Indianapolis Convention Center connects to many hotels in the ATA block. However, walking distances to each hotel vary. By booking early you can pick a hotel that saves some steps. After all, you’ll walk enough at the Show. View the map on Page 3 of the hotel form for a list of properties that connect to the ICC through the skywalk.

You Can Ignore Hotel Solicitations

ATA members report unsolicited calls and emails each year from unauthorized hotel vendors. If you book now using the instructions below, you can secure your room in the ATA block and ignore future solicitations.

All communications from official ATA Trade Show service providers will feature the official ATA Trade Show service-provider logo. For a full list of ATA-approved providers, click here.

Book Your Room

The easiest way to book your hotel room is to click the “book hotel” link after registering for your Show badge. If you aren’t ready to book your room, you’ll receive an email from archerytrade@prereg.net that includes a link to book your room online. Just click the link, select your dates, pick your hotel, fill in your information, and submit it!

You should receive confirmation within 72 hours. If you do not receive an acknowledgment, please contact the Visit Indy Housing Bureau at (317) 262-8191 or housing@VisitIndy.com.

Booking online is quick and easy. However, if you wish to book your hotel room by mail, email, phone or fax, use the ATA’s easy-to-use form.

When booking online or by other means, registrants designate their top three hotel choices. The Visit Indy Housing Bureau uses those choices to fill requests on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to accumulate rewards points, ATA covers that, too. Include your rewards number on your submission, and we’ll relay it to your hotel. The ATA also makes booking large blocks of 10-plus rooms a breeze.

The deadline to book into the ATA hotel block is Monday, Dec. 23. For reservations of 10 or more, room lists are due Tuesday, Nov. 5.

If you have questions about the Trade Show hotel block, please contact Sarah Haala, ATA’s Trade Show coordinator, at sarahhaala@archerytrade.org or 866-266-2776, ext. 101.
