Seminars are hour-long classes that help attendees learn, grow and prosper from the expertise of skilled presenters who share information and take questions from the audience. Topics for the 2020 classes include increasing profits, growing archery, benefiting from buyers’ groups, preparing retirement plans, buying business health insurance, and bow tuning and shooting. ATA seminars are held at 8 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. on Jan. 10-11, the second and third days of the Show. No seminars will be held on Day 1, which lets attendees focus on business the first day (Buyer Day). They can attend multiple seminars the next two mornings. Click here for the seminar lineup.
Coffee Talks are casual 30-minute presentations and discussions that encourage attendee participation. Attendees will sit in a half-circle so everyone can be seen and heard during these collaborative conversations. Ideas, questions and feedback are welcome in hopes that participants keep talking afterward to build business relationships. Coffee Talk topics include crossbows, conservation, the R3 movement, target audiences, federal excise taxes, the Amazon platform, and S3DA. The talks are held in the MyATA Area throughout the Show. Click here to view all Coffee Talk presentations.
Exhibitors will present 30- to 60-minute demonstrations at Booth 553, Booth 4713, and shooting lanes A7 and A8. This timeline lets exhibitors talk in depth about products and techniques to help attendees understand how the products work. That firsthand product knowledge helps retailers market the items to customers. Demonstrations will cover dog training, jerky processing, bow stabilizing, scouting technologies, and arrow selection and assembly. Click here to view the demonstration schedule.

Get certified to teach archery! Instructor certification builds your business’s credibility, boosts your marketing value, provides staff with valuable skills and knowledge, and helps your shop offer money-making programs to increase profits and customer numbers. The 2020 Show certifies Level 1, Level 2 or S3DA instructors at little cost. The ATA pays for the space, equipment and instructors, saving you up to $200! Click here to register for an instructor certification course. To register by phone, call the ATA Trade Show’s business and membership office, (866) 266-2776, or email Sarah Haala at sarahhaala@archerytrade.org.
