10 Must-Do Things at the 2022 ATA Trade Show
If you didn’t create a Show game plan or find yourself with free time at #ATA2022, add these must-do things to your schedule.

Day 1 of the 2022 ATA Trade Show is finally here and we hope you are, too, because exhibitors assembled their booths and are ready for action. Registration is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Show Floor is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you didn’t create a Show game plan or find yourself with free time at #ATA2022, add these must-do things to your schedule.
And remember, Day 1 of #ATA2022 is Buyer Day, meaning the Show floor is only open to verified buyers and exhibitors (red and yellow badges). Buyer Day ensures buyers and manufacturers can focus on order writing, business planning, and new-product evaluations during the first nine and a half hours of the three-day Show. All verified Show attendees will have access Jan. 8-9.

Get a good idea of products on the Show floor by exploring the Featured Products Showcase located on the Show floor in East Hall A & B. Don’t forget to use the ballot in your printed Exhibitor Show Special Guide or in the ATA’s free mobile app to vote for your top three favorites. All products displayed in the FPS are eligible to win a Best in Show award. The three winners, placing gold, silver and bronze, will be announced at the Connections event. Winning products will be identified via special displays in the Featured Product Showcase for viewing on days two and three of the Show.
The ATA also recognizes recently and newly released products through the New Product Launch Showcase. The first category is for New Product Introduced at ATA Trade Show, which is for products that debut at the ATA Show. The second category is New Product Introduced after Oct. 1, 2021. Products in each category are eligible to win a gold, silver or bronze award. Over 100 products were submitted by multiple exhibitors and are in a convenient area on the Show floor for viewing. Industry experts will vote on their favorite items and the winning products will be identified via special displays in the New Product Launch Showcase for viewing on days two and three.
Stop by the ATA Store at Booth 701 to see four newly designed archery and bowhunting themed T-shirts and two new hat designs. Support the industry you love and buy something for yourself, your friends and your family.

The Innovation Zone is a special area on the Show floor reserved for manufacturers new to the industry who might not want to rent a Trade Show booth but want to display their innovative products at the Show. The Innovation Zone will feature 28 exhibitors. Twenty-one companies will be making their Trade Show debut, and seven will return for their second year in this space.
Many exhibitors host booth events to provide unique, enjoyable experiences at the Show. Booth events could be anything from a celebrity appearance or product demonstration to a stand-up act or wild game cooking demonstration. Review the booth event schedule in the official 2022 ATA Trade Show mobile. Click the “Booth Event” tab in the App’s menu to view the events.
Kick back and complete Day 1 with your peers at the Connections event. The event features free drinks, food, games, entertainment and networking opportunities. ATA staff will also announce the ATA’s Impact Award winners and Best in Show awards program winners at 7:30 p.m. If you’re an ATA-member retailer, at 8:45 p.m., you can find out if you won $1,000 or $10,000 through the ATA’s 20K Giveaway. You can also try ax throwing, experience a bourbon tasting tour, and enjoy entertainment by LoCash, Megan Patrick, and a country outdoors writers round. ATA staff work hard to coordinate and provide timely, relevant and beneficial educational opportunities at the Trade Show. The 2022 Show offers seminars, Coffee Talks, instructor certification classes and the all-encompassing Archery Industry Masterclass. You’ll find presentations on sales, finances, customers, marketing, insurance, shooting techniques and product and industry trends. Star these sessions in the ATA’s mobile app to add them to your schedule. You’ll find all your starred educational items in the “My Trade Show Planner” tab under “My Itinerary.” Click here to learn more about the Show’s education lineup.
Need a break from order writing? Then, head to the shooting lanes in Lobby B (B1 through B20) and South Wing C (N1 through N10 and N23 through N31) to test different bow, arrows, targets, and bow accessories, as well as toy bows and an archery app that measurers your bow stability. Three electric bike companies, including Rambo, QuietKat and BAKCOU reserved 10,300 square feet of demo space for attendees to test-drive their products.
ATA staff can provide a wealth of knowledge. Find them at Main Registration, the Information Booth (located in the East Hall near the MyATA Area) and the ATA Store (Booth 701). Talk to them about Bowhunters United, your business goals and what the ATA is currently doing to grow the archery and bowhunting industry.
