We’re already a week into December and before you know it, we’ll be traveling to Louisville for the in-person2022 ATA Trade Show. It’s Jan. 7-9 … that is, if you remembered to register. Sure, online registration remains open throughout the Show, but here are two reasons to register ASAP:
1. ATA-member retailers who register after Dec. 17 won’t be eligible for the ATA’s $20K Giveaway. To enter to win, retailers must register for the Show by Friday, Dec. 17, and attend the Show on Buyer Day, Friday, Jan. 7.
2. New member applications will not be accepted or processed on-site, meaning nonmembers interested in attending the Trade Show must submit a membership application on or before Dec. 17 to guarantee their application will get processed.
$20K Giveaway Details for ATA-Member Retailers
We repeat: Any ATA-member retailer who registers for the Show by Friday, Dec. 17, and attends the Show on Buyer Day, Friday, Jan. 7, will be automatically entered to win a cash prize. One lucky retailer will win $10,000, while 10 others will win $1,000. That’s a total of $20,000 split between 11 retailers! The ATA will announce the winners at Connections: An ATA Happy Hour, on Friday night in the Freedom Hall.

Other Show Details
Once you finish registering, you must book your hotel and make travel plans. If you’re on the fence about when to arrive, we recommend you get in Wednesday night (Jan. 5) or Thursday morning (Jan. 6)! Here are six reasons why you should arrive early to #ATA2022. The “Your #ATA2022 Checklist: Complete These Tasks ASAP” article will help you plan your trip to Louisville, but here’s a brief rundown of things to consider.
Hotel Information: You can visit the ATA’s hotel information webpage to find a list of hotels in the ATA block, which closes Tuesday, Dec. 21. All hotels will have a complimentary morning and evening shuttle service provided by ATA that runs to and from the Kentucky Exposition Center Jan. 6-9, 2022. Booking in the ATA hotel block ensures you receive the lowest price.
Connections: An ATA Happy Hour presented by Outdoor Sportsman Group: Plan to attend this event to network over free beer, food, games and entertainment on Friday, Jan. 7, at 6 p.m. Connections offers the opportunity to learn, gather insights and share practical knowledge about programs and revenue-generating ideas from industry experts. You can also try ax throwing, experience a bourbon tasting tour and enjoy entertainment by LoCash. We suggest trying your hand at ax throwing before you sample different bourbons. The country music duo will start performing at 8:45 p.m. The Show also features other must-attend events. Check them out here.
2022 ATA Show Mobile App: The ATA’s official 2022 Trade Show mobile app is free to download, easy to use and extremely helpful for Show attendees. App users can view the events schedule, view exhibitor booth events, browse the education schedule, get live notifications for Show happenings and find exhibitors on the ATA’s interactive floor map. Anyone who downloads the app should also complete the “Enter to Win” form for a chance to win a Scent Crusher Gear Bag ($199 value) and 12 Victory Archery VAP SS 350 V1 Arrows ($220 value). The ATA will notify the mobile app giveaway winner after the Show.
Educational Events: ATA staff work hard to coordinate and provide timely, relevant and beneficial educational opportunities at the Trade Show.
